The new model in the Series 8 mechanical watch collection combines functionality and practicality with a modern, sporty design. This new mechanical model in the 890 series is equipped with magnetic resistance and water resistance up to 20 bar. The watch offers a range of practical functions and is extremely comfortable to wear.

The case features a unique three-piece construction with an elegant octagonal bezel that draws the eye. The case is both highly polished and brushed and features intricate patterns and the clean, straight lines that are the signature of the Series 8.

The bold design of the bidirectional inner bezel gives the watch an even sportier look. The dial design, also found on the 880 series mechanical model launched in 2023, is inspired by Tokyo's night sky and shows endless skyscrapers with square windows of varying sizes that modernly interpret the traditional Japanese checkerboard pattern (Ichimatsu pattern). The transparent case back allows the ticking of the watch's heart to be seen. The movement also features magnetic resistance, which ensures the watch's accuracy by reducing the effects of magnetic fields generated by smartphones and tablets in our digital world. The watch's special features also include an average daily accuracy of -10 to +20 seconds and a power reserve of approximately 42 hours.
