– In the Hand of the Imperial –

Ando x Antick x Meridiano collaboration

This model uses the AQ-1 case: Meridiano, Antick Design and AndoAndoAndo present the very first 38 mm case designed to accommodate a VH31 quartz movement. The seconds hand is Meridiano's Found Rocket , and the dial is the Imperial model, designed by Yu Ando (already marketed via ModModeWatches).

A word from Yu Ando (AndoAndoAndo)

I have a lot of watches. And sometimes it's nice to have a quartz watch: no need to wind it, it always tells the correct time, even after several days without wearing it.

But is this model really worth €400?

It all depends on what you expect from a watch.

If it's just to tell the time, then a €15 Casio will suffice — or even nothing at all, since your smartphone is even more accurate.

But what if it's for the design, the object, the style? Then yes, this watch is worth its price. It's an almost unique piece (limited edition of 20 numbered pieces ).

Sure, you could buy the parts separately and assemble one yourself at a lower cost. But would you really do that? Or would you prefer a pre-assembled watch, with a special engraving and an embossed pouch created specifically for that model?
