The special feature of this Super Titanium model is the automatic movement and the decentralized seconds hand between "4 and 5 o'clock" - also known as "small seconds".
Since 1970, Citizen has been using titanium, a rare raw material, to manufacture watches. Thanks to its excellent characteristics, Super Titanium watches are very durable. The Super Titanium used by Citizen is created from a raw material, pure titanium, and Citizen's own coating technology (Duratect). This gives it a strength five times greater than that of stainless steel. Due to its exceptional characteristics, Super Titanium is used by Citizen in the Japanese aerospace industry.
