Behrens Orion One

The Behrens Orion One is an innovative automatic wristwatch inspired by the world of science fiction and the concept of an extraterrestrial “mothership.” This captivating model combines futuristic design with precision watchmaking, offering a unique visual and functional experience. Its case is composed of 40 finely polished facets, a testament to Behrens’ technical expertise.

The time display is presented at 6:00 on two luminous 3D rollers, one for the hours and the other for the minutes, activated by complex gears that provide great readability. In the center of the dial, a “radar”-shaped seconds hand adds a touch of mystery. The Orion One also features a linear day/night indicator at 12:00, a date with a magnifying glass at 1:30, and a case back engraved with an “Alien” motif.

This watch incorporates several patents, including a lever-operated time-setting mechanism that replaces the traditional crown and a quick-change strap system. The case measures 44 mm in length, 38 mm in width, with a thickness of 12.6 mm and a water resistance of 3 ATM, for a durable and versatile style. It comes with a fluoroelastomer strap, offering lasting comfort and a variety of colors to suit any occasion.
